From the organisers:

Visit the first in a world theatre, where robots are the actors.

Actors closed in mechanic bodies. Humanoid artists talking dialogues of Lem or explaining multidimensionality.
Robots, or exactly RoboThespians, were developed in the British Engineered Arts Ltd. company. Programming took half a year for each robot. There are three robot actors performing in plays prepared by Copernicus Science Centre. Voices were given by among others Piotr Fronczewski, Marian Opania, Wiktor Zborowski and Marta Lipińska.

The Robotic Theatre is a permanent element of the „Roots of Civilization” gallery – the one of its kind in Europe exhibition combining hard science with humanities. The Theatre is to present important issues related with various fields of hard science and humanities in an emotional and thereby more intelligible way. Additionally, the Theatre is to support and complement the education with works, authors and issues beyond the official curricula.
