From the Organisers:

The Thinkatorium is a new place where all visitors, regardless the age, knowledge and skills will learn that they „think better than they think”. At the workshop tables one can face engineering, scientific and logical challenges on one's own, having everyday use items at disposal: straws, paper, paper clips, balls, rubber bands. Without any specific instructions, grades, or time limits. Everyone has a chance to discover something.

We open glass door and move from Copernicus's lively exhibitions to a brand new place. There is a wooden counter with high stools. Solid large tables can be transformed into smaller, cosy desks. There is a menu saturated with experiments. It is time to pick a task. Let's try to build a flying machine. Straws, insulation foam, scissors and paper appear on a table.

It is time to start. There is no deadline, no specific instructions and the solution in unknown. The outcome lies in our hands and depends on ingenuity, skilfulness and persistence. Here we can discover something for ourselves – we start to understand science laws, we find out that we are able to think out-of-the-box, we shape our patience, determination and readiness for challenges.
